DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE FROM WORLEYPARSONS HR INTERN

Hi there,

I am utterly appalled at the HR service i received from an HR Intern named "Dumisani Ndala".

I had app**** for a Regional Service Desk Analyst position at the companies website and then Dumisani responded via email to schedule an interview with me. I wasn't available to communicate with him telephonically, so we resorted to email.

He asked if I am available and I said not immediately however I am considering a change in my environment at work as I have been working at the IT company for 7 years. I further requested more information regarding the position such as - Salary, Location etc, he the said market related.

Due to the nature of the company, I had to ask further questions such as, what is "Market related"in the oil & energy industry as per my position? This is the response I got from him:

Good day Prince,

I see you more into the salary than the job, thank you for your application.

Now I am not happy with how he handled our thread and it defeats me that WorleyParsons is a professionally owned Australian company, and the image shown by your Intern was not professional at all. I feel as if he was judging me by the "Money"side of things not realizing that we need to ask such questions before we make drastic career decisions. Dumisani does not know me, let alone has he interviewed me. So Who is HE to tell me that I am more interested in the salary than the job??????

I have worked my position long enough to ask such a valid question, and I demand an apology from HIM..
