I submit a claim with cell c insurance underwritten by holladrd insurance, as I had a problem with my hand set. They took almost two weeks for them to come collectthe phone/ After collecting the phone i ask how much Is my excess and to my surprise they couldn’t tell me the amount .after a week of calling their contact center every day, then a lady told me my excess is 1700.00 ( I couldn’t believe it). I told them that’s impossible I ask for the breakdown of my excess via email to this day am still waiting for that email Called the call center again a week ago I ask to speak to a team leader. I ask the team leader how much is the basic excess he told me is 900.00 but then I look at the contact to my surprise the basic excess for damages is 300.00 – I was like where did this guy get the 900.00 The same day I told the guy to cancel my insurance.

I am highly ****ed with the service you guys offer us as customers. The amount of *********** people working in the C Surance by Cell C is highly shocking My advice to Cell C & Hollard insurance is they cancel their contact this this broker as a matter of agent. This fly by night broker is using cell c and hollard clients at the same time damaging their brand.

As am writing this email am due for an upgrade with cell c and until this issue is solved i won’t be doing any update with cell c.

you can’t have big brands like this contracted to this fly by night insurance broker. As per the contact my excess is 300.00 not 1700 I won’t pay it or else they will have to pay me the balance

Will give you guys 3 days to solve this issue , then the next step is to address this issue with cell c directly as they are there one debiting my account and ombusman
