Do not use this company to purchase a watch!

Purchased a Police watch around the 21st June. From the 1st week the watch was losing time. I returned to shop on two occasions, with both testing and replacing the battery. I eventually returned to the shop again and was advised that the watch must be sent in for repairs. I was first advised by a lady (older lady who was very understanding) during the week that the repair will be expedited and later told by someone else on the weekend the repairs will take 6-8 weeks. The watch was sent in on the 18th July. I find disturbing that me as a consumer, purchased a new R2200 watch and the watch failed to operate property during the first week. I now must wait 6-8 weeks for repairs to be done. With the protection afforded to consumers under the CPA, I do not find this reasonable? At no time has anybody ever followed up with me. I have gone in on two occasions only to be advised that I must just wait the 6-8 weeks and the staff do not follow up. Followed up myself with CJR (Tersia) the agent. The watch has been repaired more than a week ago, however awaiting payment from Word Time Machine. Still await after numerous emails. Do not buy from them!
