WORLD OF SUN POWER — UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE, ZERO COMMUNICATION, NO QUOTATION, AND AN UNEXPECTED R1,800 CHARGE

WORLD OF SUN POWER — UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE, POOR COMMUNICATION, AND UNEXPECTED R1,800 CHARGE My experience with World of Sun Power has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I submitted my Kodak inverter for repair after it developed an F90 fault. Over approximately four weeks, I repeatedly requested updates, a diagnosis, and a quotation. Instead of receiving clear communication, I had to chase the company for answers. I needed this information to approve the repair and update my customer. No work should have been completed without a clear quotation and my approval. UNEXPECTED CHARGE AND NO QUOTATION I was not given a proper quotation before being presented with an R1,800 charge. I therefore request evidence of: The quotation provided to me. My approval of the repair and amount. The scope of work completed. An itemised breakdown of the R1,800 charge. Who authorised this expense, and when was my approval obtained? COLLECTION IN ROSEBANK After weeks of waiting, I was told the inverter was ready for collection in Rosebank. I travelled from Kempton Park, only to face an unexpected charge that had not been properly communicated beforehand. This caused unnecessary fuel costs, wasted time, and disruption to my business. I should not have been required to make the trip without the repair cost and collection arrangements being clearly confirmed. IMPACT ON MY BUSINESS As JB Electric, I am responsible for keeping my customer informed and maintaining their confidence. The lack of feedback and unclear charges made this difficult and placed unnecessary pressure on my business and reputation. INFORMATION REQUIRED Please provide: The diagnosis and cause of the F90 fault. Details of the repairs and components involved. Tests performed after the repair. The repair completion date. Any applicable repair warranty. The job card, repair report, and related documentation. Proof of any quotation and approval re**** upon. REQUEST FOR RESOLUTION I request a written response explaining how this matter was handled, together with a reasonable proposal to address the unnecessary inconvenience, wasted time, and travel costs. I expect direct answers to the following: Why was I not given a quotation despite requesting one? Who authorised the R1,800 charge? What evidence shows that I approved it? When was the inverter repaired and tested? What caused the F90 fault? Why was I left to chase for updates? What will World of Sun Power do to resolve this matter? I am asking for transparency, accountability, professional communication, and fair treatment. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in World of Sun Power, and I would not recommend the company based on this service.
