Workman's comp claim

I was in an accident in 2013 that almost left me for dead, I lost my unborn child and my best friend in the accident. Since then I have a claim number, my paper work has been lost more than 3 times, I have send so many emails, and going to the Local Labour office for assistance but nothing. I have medical expenses and will have to go for more surgeries in the future, my life has been living with pain ever since. The owner that I worked for when the accident happened retrenched us and has not been of any help. Can someone please assist.
