My name is Mr Sethabela MJ.My id is ***.my problem is i had a policies with workerslife .and i had financial problem and one of my policy was deducting R278 from my salary direct and i had to pa R690 by bank which was tough for me bcos of my financial constrains.i went to thier offices to cancel this policy because i saw it has lots of arrears The consultant at thier offices she told me that the only thing i can do is to reduce the members of family in the policy who are covered. I then wrote the letter stating my financial problems then the other members who were on the policy were re moved and the only person who was left there it was Kedisaletse Paulinah Melamu id *** which was my aunt.tge redused amount of R288 they started deducting from January 2019:if i m not misteken. On the 28 March 2019 my aunt paseed on.and i submitted my claim and on thier system my aunt status waz still reflecting active and other whom were previously there with were marked not active. The claim was submitted but firstly returned because of the old identification documents nd they ask us explanation why the identification book was in that order we explained and after two week they without hearing from them i went to make a follow-up.that is when i was told the policy is in arrears.i was asked to do a presentation of my dissatisfaction to the ombudsmen,i did it and i went back after 4 weeks and i was told tge oaubadsmen declares my presentation unsuccessful. I asked them the letter head of thier aumbudsmen is addresed workerslife so how can the result be different bcos is from thier one of thier offices The worst part of all i made workerslife aware that my aunt past away in march but in April they also deducted the same amount. I need help with this matter because i went to this this workersreap to cancel this policy but they denied me that privilege they force me to follow what the advice me to do.workers life if you are not member of Popcru union the make plans not to pay you Hope and trust that my plea will be be attended to
