Policy cancelled seven months ago but money still being deducted.

<p>I had a funeral cover with workerslife from 2007. On 1st of August 2016 I went to workerslife wynberg branch to cancel my legal cover and funeral cover and I was given a piece of blank page to write my cancellation which I did and I was told that it would take 3 months for the funeral cover to be cancelled. Then in January 2017 I noticed in my pay slip that workerslife was still deducting R335 from my salary and I went back to workerslife wynberg branch to enquire about what was going on and I was assisted by a lady named Unathi who informed me that the person at their Pretoria head office who handled my cancellation only cancelled the legal cover not the funeral cover. She sent a email to whoever was responsible but could not get the person on the phone but promised to get back to me. On the same day 2017- 01-27 at 15:28 Unathi phoned me to say she got hold of the person at head office and that they need my bank statement to refund me. On the 02/02/2017 I phoned workerslife head office and I was assisted by Mr shabangu who informed that their refunds department would refund me all the premiums from the end of August 2016 and that the they would refund me at the end of February. On 01/03/2017 I phoned workerslife again because they didn't refund me at the end of February and I spoke to a consultant named Thando who told me that there was nothing on their system about me getting a refund and that I must write them a letter of refund so they can look into my querry.</p>
