TERRIBLE SERVICE

Worcester Breakdown Service (Worcester) I am deeply disappointed with the service I received from Worcester Breakdown Service in Worcester and feel it necessary to warn others before trusting them with their vehicles. After my car blew a gasket, they worked on the engine — but the job was done completely incorrectly. The top was put back on skew, the head was skimmed *****ed and the overheating problem was never resolved. As a result, my car kept overheating every time we attempted to drive home. I had to return three times for the same issue and each time I was told it was “fixed,” yet the problem persisted. On the fourth attempt to leave Worcester, the car became completely undriveable. I eventually had to arrange for someone from George to transport it on a flatbed trailer all the way back home. I paid R11 000 for their service and my car is now in a worse condition than before they touched it. The mechanic in George confirmed the poor workmanship and now has to redo the repairs at an additional cost of R15 000. To make matters worse, the company has been completely unresponsive. They have ignored my calls, emails and even a letter drafted by my lawyer. Their workmanship, professionalism and customer service have been unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before making use of their services.
