WW -- Dangerous and irresponsible behaviour - My opinion

Nightmares in dealing with WW financial department - Stay Away. I had a loan account with WW for nearly 20 years (Paid up and unused for the last 3+ years) not one day of trouble. Suddenly a couple of months ago I realised I had an issue on my credit score. WW deducted an service fee on my account. It caused my account to go into the red with something like R30. WW decided to go to the credit rating agency for that amount. No contact with me - just" hey here is a nice surprise courtesy of ww - a negative "non-payer" mark on your credit record - and I only saw it after 3 months. So I went in to WW to pay and close the account. Couple of months later same thing happened - account was never closed. So Again! I have a bad credit rating for about R48. So, again, I go in and pay the amount. But at the Financial desk they had me pay something like R300+. I paid in order to stop this irresponsible and damaging behaviour of WW on my credit record. I was told that I had to wait till the next day and come back in to close account. I went in about a week later to close the account. Low and behold they could not, for now my account was is the green with R300. They made a mistake the previous time when I did my payment and over charged me. I was informed I could not get a refund from WW not even in the form of a gift card which I was willing to accept. They suggested I write of the money WW now awes me. Alternatively I have to go to the bank and get a bank statement and bring it back to them. THEN they will make a payment and THEN I can come in and close the account. So In total 5 visits to WW to close an account. They realy roll out the red (carpet-NOT) tape when you dare to want to close an account. Just remember I I want to withdraw loan money from that same account into my bank it takes one phone call and within 24 min I can have money that I loan into my account. BUT MY OWN MONEY refund they play games. So out of frustration I wrote off the R300. Interesting how WW will easily suggest and take in write off R300 they owe me, but go to the credit beuro for R48 admin fee the charge me. In my opinion WW feels NOTHING for their customers - and will grease all the avenues to take money but have absolutely no support when it does not benefit them.
