Worsr Service Ever
I have twin boys (2 and a half years old) and 90% of their wardrobe is woolies clothes. End of April 2018 I lay-buy'd clothes worth R3000 at woolworths Wonderpark Mall and when I went back 25th of May 2018 they couldn't find the items. I was told that there were 5 people looking for my stuff. It took them over 3 hours and while I was waiting I could see them looking for the stuff on the floor instead of searching their storeroom where they kept the lay buy. They didn't keep me updated, they just left me there waiting. When I went to go check if there was any progress they asked me if I could come back the following day and I told them I couldn't as I was due to leave town the same evening. The store closed and I could see that they just wanted me out of the store so that I can go home. One lady then approached me and told me that they can't search any further as the head office has switched off the lights in the room where they keep lay-buy'd items. So woolworths head office is in charged of switching on &/off the lights of all the woolworths stores in South Africa. I was so offended by how the woman took me for a fool. I chose not to entertain her stupidity and instead asked her what the solution was. They suggested we cancel the transaction and gave my money back. The items that we could still find on the floor, I took them and paid for them. They promised that they will continue to look for the stuff and deliver the stuff that they couldn't find on the floor to the branch in Polokwane. They assured me that they will mark them urgent so that I get them the following Tuesday (May 29th). I left for Polokwane and today is the 04th of June 2018 and haven't received a single call from Wonderpark mall woolworths. I am super disappointed, not only because of the terrible service but for also disrespecting me.
