Woolwroths - Legal Fees

I am really disturbed with the way Woolworths conducts its business, I have an account with them which was in arrears, I have recently settled it at one of their stores. I was not aware that there were legal fees included , never was I informed at the store that I must pay R2000 worth of legal fees. Last month I went to the store, asked them to print a mini statement for me showing how much I owe in total, I then settle the account with in full with the outstanding balance at the store, I then again after a few days to the store to check my balance owing which was showing a zero balance. Now I am getting calls saying that I must settle the legal fees. I feel this is very unfair as I was not made aware of the fees and I dont even understand what are the fees for? am I expected to pay legal fees which amounts to the exact amount I owed the store?
