Woolworths/ABSA blocked my Black Credit Card

I understand that Woolworths has a formal business arrangement with ABSA to provide credit cards, I app**** and received my Woolies Credit Card on the 23rd April 2022.

I was impressed by how efficient the entire process was however this was short-lived because for no apparent reason, 1 week later, ABSA or Woolworths decided to block my card.

I have spent hours on the phone, I have submitted and re-submitted my documents repeatedly. I have visited both, ABSA and Woolworths in-person with my documents in hand however here we are, almost 10 days later and I still cannot transact on my card.

I hate that it had to come to this because I love this company, can you please correct this unfortunate situation

Update : This is just a friendly heads up, when taking up the Woolies CC, you will be given a card printed in store, this is a temporary card. It will stop working a week or so after it has been activated. You will need to submit your documents, ID & Proof of Residence at your nearest woolies store, AGAIN. Don't bother calling them to handle it yourself, GO TO THE STORE, and yes, I know it sucks. After submitting the documents wait a day or two and then request that your new card, the one that will be embossed with your name, is sent to either your nearest woolies store or your home address, after which you will now have card that works perfectly.
