Woolworths Welkom

It is a petty that the person (security/employee) at the front door, that is sanitizing the customers, thinks they own the company.

I am currently disabled and can only walk with crutches, and I must use gloves, as my hands gets very sweaty and slippery on the crutches. On Saturday 26 June 2021, as I want to entry the shop, "the sanitizer lady" wants to sanitize my gloves. I told her that I cannot use sanitizer on the crutches because it makes the handles very slippery and if I fall, WHO IS GOING TO BE LIABLE FOR MY INJURIES, unless they have paper towels so that I can wipe my hands dry, and she said that they don't use it.

She then told me that I can take of the gloves, so that she can sanitize my hands, then I can put the gloves back on again ... I ASKED HER WHAT IS THE USE OF TAKING MY GLOVES OFF, TO SANITIZE MY HANDS, AND THEN PUT THE GLOVES BACK ON AGAIN.

She told me that it is company policy that everybody must sanitize. I then asked her to call a Manager to explain what my situation is (because at other shop they understand if it is explained to them).

The lady then told me that she is not going to call a Manager ... if I am not going to sanitize, I must leave the shop immediately.

Most of my clothes in my wardrobe I bought at WOOLWORTHS, and they can be assured that I will never bought there again.

It is a shame that they treat disabled customers in this way. Regards
