Woolworths Unacceptable Standards of a service at Melrose Arch

5th February 2023 Woolworths Melrose Arch fails to help me steam a garment I purchase at the Witcher department because they do not have steamers on that floor.

A very professional gentleman by the name of Snamiso from a department diagonal to Witcher, country road and Trenery sees me looking for Woolworths employees on those departments and I see no one so he rushes over to me to offer his assistance. I explain what I need help with, he walks me to a colleague at country road for him to request them to assist me and the colleague with a raggedy-dreadlock kinda styled fade answers him without giving me as a customer even a look, telling Snamiso he can’t help as theirs got damaged. I could not believe the unprofessionalism portrayed by this employee. Snamiso quickly managed it by offering me that we go get assistance downstairs, of which we find a steamer at men’s department and apparently the only one that works in the entire store. Unfortunately Snamiso spend more than 30mins trying to use this steamer however it was malfunctioning and just making my brand new dress dirty with dirty water coming from it and not really steaming while I continued to be late to my appointment.

I have received such a service from Woolworths Sandton City without any issues, in a few minutes I am in and out.

The above is unacceptable!!!!!

Snamiso was amazingly professional, provided the most amazing customer service with uninterested colleagues and non-functional equipment- steamer from a department that is not his responsibility with one colleague of his asking him for advise on her intention to purchase an item or two.
