Woolworths the worst company ever!!!!!

My Mum is 83 years old, always had an excellent credit record. The she had two strokes which affected her speech and hearing. Woolworths tried to contact her regarding her account that was in arrears, but she couldn't understand what they were saying. Last December, they phoned again and I answered her phone while we were visiting them in KZN. It was a lady from Brooks & Luyt Inc regarding her account. I immediately made arrangements to pay off the account by debit order. The account was paid up 28 February this year when the last amount was taken from my bank account. Kolani from Brooks & Luyt Inc phoned me to say as soon as money is paid over to Woolworths they will send us a settlement letter. In the mean time my Mom gets call from the call centre at Boroks & Luyt Inc regarding her account. We keep on explaining it has been paid up! Then lockdown happened and still no money paid over to Woolworths. Sureya at Brooks & Luyt Inc said a query has been lodged and it will be paid over to Woolworths as soon as possible. The suddenly my Mom started getting threatening calls from a new company of attorneys VBM regarding her Woolworths account. They took account away from Brooks & Luyt as they haven't received the last payment! Really, is this the way that Woolworths operate? No-one there can just pick up the phone and call Brooks & Luyt to hear what the story is? They would have known my Mum or I have p[aid up the account? Bou no, so much easier to harass her!!!!!!! I went to Brooks & Luyt Inc this week and spoke to Constance Matsobe who confirmed my Mum's account is paid up but because of lockdown they have not paid the final amount over to Woolworths. I then spoke to Nandipha at Woolworths legal department and even sent her an Email to explain all the facts with everyone's details at Brooks and Luyt attorneys and still we get harassed by the new attorneys at VBM? PLEASE CAN SOMEONE AT WOOLWORTHS WAKE UP AND STOP HARASSING MY 83 YEAR OLD MOM!!!!!!!!!~!!
