Woolworths Table Bay Mall - bad service from manager & teller

My mom bought a few thousand rand worth of clothes for my kids over Christmas from Woolworths. 5 of the items unfortunately did not fit so I returned them to Table Bay Mall Woolworths. The teller did not have any idea what she was doing (assuming she was new). The manager who was standing behind her was so unhelpful. After crediting the items I asked if some of the items were now on sale which is why the credited amount was roughly R300 less than the amount of the clothing. She advised that it was on sale which was odd as nothing in the store was on sale yet. I then asked her if she had credited the 1 pair of cargo pants as I noticed that she seemed to have skipped over them. The manager said that all items had been accounted for. She presented me with a slip to sign for the return & I noticed that only 4 items were credited and not 5. So, I asked her again. Are you sure all the items were credited. The manager said to me that next time I should bring the receipt in if I expected a full credit. I once again told her that the clothes were a gift & I didn't have a receipt. I then pointed out that I brought in 5 items but only 4 were credited on the slip. She then grabbed the slip and mumbled to the teller that the cargo pants weren't credited. Neither the teller or the manager offered any form of apology and even when I thanked them and said goodbye I was ignored. I find this totally disrespectful & rude. This is not what I am used to when visiting any Woolworths store. Your staff are usually friendly and very polite. I am seriously disappointed considering the amount of money which we spend in your store every year to get treated like this. I was completely blanked & ignored & not to mention **** to as none of the items were on sale so the manager sucked that bit of information out of her thumb. No apology offered for short changing me of an item which cost in the region of R300. Very disappointed Woolworths. An apology would have been suffice.
