Woolworths Southgate can't purchase without store card but u can only pay with your ID.

I've been a woolworths customer for years but the service I got today I was not happy at all. I have misplaced my store card and I urgently needed few things for my kids, I was so disappointed that I couldn't purchase using my ID and my store account number, I was told that it is against their policy and THEY CAN ONLY USE MY ID IF I WANT TO PAY the store card. I was told they need my store card in order to verify my signature. Honestly if u truly wanted to verify if the person purchasing using the store card is really the owner use other means as well just to strengthen your verification system. People out there forge peoples signatures it's a reality!.. what made me extremely angry is the fact that they were not even willing to verify the information that they have on their system with my ID and my store account statement, I even told them that they can check, my account is fully paid up and they can even ask me any questions to verify that I'm truly the account holder, but they were not interested. My account has been up to date for years and I think my journey with woolworths will end here.I'M TRULY DISSAPPOINTED!!
