Woolworths - shocking misrepresentation

Shocking misrepresentation & lack of transparency, whilst adding charges without disclosing them. First they close your store card without informing you. When you enquire they cannot tell you with any cer*****y, they rather guess because you are not using it frequently enough. Then they entice you emails promising R500 vouchers once you spend R1.200 or more. You go through their process which is quite invasive requesting financial details for a store card, whilst trying to sell you a credit card. Once you have opened the account & gone to a different store in a different centre. You spend the aR1,200 only to be advised your vouchers will be loaded the following week. They are not & after numerous interactions & spending +R8 000 they tell you they cannot offset any costs incurred, they send you a gift voucher. What they don't disclose in they now charge R49.99 per month to have the account they add insurance cover not discussed & to make matters worse I only find out on my 2nd statement that they are charging me +20% interest on outstanding balance, which I assume is monthly. This after I have exceeded monthly repayments by +200%. They are sharks & cannot be trusted. I feel that they have misrepresented themselves, did not disclose detail around costs, charges, insurance etc. I will be canceling my account & feel taken advantage of. So disappointing for a company I have trusted & supported my entire life.
