WOOLWORTHS SHAMELESS SERVICE

I've used Woolies Dash 3 times this year. 2 of which are complaints.

01 JANUARY 26 - The delivery guy doesn't communicate, has no customer service etiquette. And the freshly baked croissant wasnt fresh. It was stale.

17 FEBRUARY 2026 WHO ON EARTH DOES WOOLWORTHS THINK THEY ARE!!! Process is of essence, which they lack. Placed my order (5 items; under R500) before 9am to be delivered between 9am - 10am. Order arrived at 9:42am. Incorrect order was delivered. Emailed and called the Woolies service center with immediate effect at 9:45am. First agent (couldn't hear her name properly as the phone volume was extremely low). This agent has no basic etiquette in the manner of speaking to a customer. Explained the situation and provided order number. Logged the complaint and said "I apologize". I asked her when will my order arrive. She said, your order will be on the way now soon. They will collect the incorrect order and deliver the correct items to me. I was under the impression they will arrive in the next 15 minutes as Woolies Pinelands Howard Centre is around the corner. First agent provided false hope and incorrect information.

40 minutes later, my order still hasn't arrived and no communication on Woolworths side.

I decided to call at 10:35am. Spoke to the second agent (line was very soft). Explained the situation once again and provided the order number. Second agent said she will get back to me. Placed me on hold. 7 minutes later, I was still waiting on the line. She didn't bother to get back to me.

I redialled at 10:42 am, spoke to the third agent. Explained the situation. And to my surprise she hung up on me. She wasn't interested in assisting a customer. This complaint is just escalating further up the ladder.

Redialled at 10:45am, spoke to the fourth agent. Explained the entire situation and she mentioned the last two agents made no log report on my profile. Mentioned she will find out what is going on and provide me with feedback to resolve the issue. And she also said " I apologize". Keeping in mind Iv been waiting since 9am for my order of 5 items.

11:18am the delivery gentleman Joseph came to collect the incorrect order. I asked him what happened and when will I get my items. He mentioned I will receive my order but not sure when it will be delivered. He is a very respectful person.

After 52 minutes after speaking to the fourth agent, she called at 11:33am. Mentioned they will collect the wrong order (which they already have) and they will Re-shop my order. In the first place what happened to my order that they originally packaged. I asked her the GOLDEN question "WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?". GUESS WHAT.... She didn't know either. Absolutely pathetic. PROCESS AND DETAIL IS OF ESSENCE TO A CUSTOMER. It's important to provide a customer with ETA. She said she will find out and call me back.

Fourth agent called me at 11:57am, My order is on the way. Iv waited 2hours 30 minutes.

Order arrived at 12:05pm. Joseph delivery gentleman handed my order over. I told him to wait and double check. To my surprise my entire order wasn't in the package. I asked him where is the 5th item. There are only 4 items here. I showed him the list. I told him to take a picture of my order list and a picture of the 4 items in the bag as proof. He called the shopper lady, he told her that not all items were present, she hung up immediately. I told him to redial so I can speak to her and she avoided the call. Joseph left to fetch my 5th item which was missing.

1pm the last item was delivered, 50 minutes later. I asked him why did you take so long. I could see he was afraid but he is so sincere and respectful, I valued that about him. He was advised by the Manager...... -He is not allowed to engage with the customer. -He should just deliver, say "Sorry" and leave. -He was instructed to make 2 other deliveries prior to my delivery of last item missing. And Iv waited since 9am. I believe as a customer I have every right to enquire what's going on and its not my duty to check if my order is correct. It was the shoppers lady's duty to contact me whilst re-shopping or message me via the App. I waited 4 hours

-Shopper lady where was her mind whilst shopping items for a customer. Careless and ***********. If roles where swopped how would she react. Clearly doesn't value time of a customer.

-ALL 4 Agents were ***********. Puppets that dictate "I apologize". They too don't value a customers time.

-Why are managers afraid to come forth. Dictating to staff, just say "Im sorry". That is not empathy. How is that "Apology" going to resolve your internal management problems. Is Woolworths hiding something that we as consumers not aware off.

-MANAGER (No clue what his name is). He has shown arrogance, failure, incompetence, lack of professionalism, no asset to Woolworths, doesn't value a customers time, he inconveniences them very well. He didn't have the decency to call me telephonically to resolve this situation.

- Marketing of Woolies dash doesn't collab with the service being delivered. They expect a customer to adhere to there terms and conditions. But vise versa are they. NO. Woolworths has to re-think there business strategy pertaining to Woolies dash and management has to get there act together.

-Woolworths who do you think you are to treat a customer with so much disrespect. Never have I imagined I would have to endure incompetence from this company.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS. A simple apology won't be good enough in the manner I was treated. How are you going to resolve this huge error on your end. Consumers really need to think twice.

WOOLWORTHS, THANK YOU FOR THE DISRESPECT YOU HAVE DELIVERED TO A VALUABLE CUSTOMER.
