Woolworths Riverside Coffee Shop employee in Bryanston turning customers down - a slight touch of ******?

<p>I shop regularly at Woolworths Riverside in Bryanston, and leave a substancial amount of money there. I often drop by their coffee shop to buy some of their delicious bread, a croissant, or a sandwidch.</p> <p>This morning, I went to their coffee shop to buy bread and a croissant. When I showed up at the coffee shop till, the lady behind the till refused to let me pay there and told me that this till was only for customers buying coffee. She told me that I had to go all the way to the other side of the shop to pay. This was news to me, as I pay my bread and croissants or anything I buy from the coffee shop at this till everytime, except if I'm buying other things from the shop. And so do other customers. I told her so, but she still refused to let me pay. I then offered to buy a cup of coffee (that I would not have drank as I don't like coffee) so that I could pay for my bread and croissant. But again, she refused.</p> <p>What kind of service is this? Do Woolworths now let their employees decide whether they are going to serve a customer or not? The sales lady behind the till had a very arrogant attitude - not to say slightly ******.</p> <p>Maybe Woolworths should close this coffee shop if customers are not welcome to buy there, and let this lady go home permanently. She obviously does not need her paycheck at the end of the month if letting the shop customers go away is not a problem for her.</p> <p>I left my stuff on her counter, and went over to Jackson's around the corner - where they also sell delicious bread and croissants, and where their employees are friendly and do not have an attitude.</p>
