Woolworths poor policy

I received a gift from Woolworths. It was a shirt for my fiancee. I returned the shirt for a smaller size to Woolworths Hillcrest only to find out I needed to pay full pay price for the item. Like I was buying myself a gift???! What a poor policy and no customer service help whatsoever. They keep telling you about Quality Sale but do not tell you that when you return a sale item that you are liable for full price. That's such ********** behavior from such a big retail chain store.
