Woolworths Plastic bag policy

Woolworths Plattekloof Village. No more plastic bags at checkout. Was told to purchase a material bag at R6.50 each as they no longer supply plastic bags. I do not keep bags in my car and asked for empty boxes. Was informed by the manager that they do not have any boxes and that I may use a basket to transfer my shopping to my car boot.

Absolutely ridiculous policy, forcing there shoppers to purchase bags at R6.50 each, and having no alternate form of packaging. Ever heard of paper bags..........
