Woolworths only think of themselves

I received a gift from my mom that does not live in Cape town for my two boys which was 2 pairs of shoes bought on sale in the 1st week of January. As a working mother I was unable to return the shoes up until today the 1st of February. Woolworths refused to exchange it and said I had to come in the week,I had up until the 28th... I'm so disgusted that I will never purchase there again. It's a gift how was i suppose to know this? What am i suppose to do with shoes that dont fit??? I always thought of woolworths as superior due to customer service. Not anymore! Will never go back!
