Woolworths Online Store sends us damaged Curtains and No Replacements.

My husband and I and our family and friends think Woolworths is one of the best stores in South Africa. Because of the Quality, Service and After Service you usually receive. After buying Sahara Block Out Eyelet Curtain 135 X 250cm online we were so shocked to get the curtains delivered in a cardboard box with no individual wrapping. We realize that its good to eliminate plastic but our curtains should have been wrapped in white paper. Instead they were bounced around in the box and picked up little pieces of brown cardboard and one had a brown watermark. Then to our absolute horror we found that 2 curtain had pulled threads sticking out. We have contacted Woolworths and sent them Photos of the damaged curtains many times and we have found their attitude very unsympathetic and unhelpful. On the Online website Woolworths state Easy Returns but this has not happened in this case. As we have just moved into a new place we have ordered many items from online stores and found that they all had excellent service and perfect products were sent to us. A lady from Woolworths did phone and promise they would exchange the two curtains, if they had stock but then when I went online to order 2 more, because you need at least 10 curtains for our window, these curtain were then available. We have been told that 2 replacement curtains would be sent but nothing has happened. But we have been informed that the two new curtains we ordered were on their way. We now feel it is best if Woolworths either fetch all the curtains and refund us or give us the 2 replacement curtains ( in a new condition ) immediately as we are living with only part of our lounge window being covered with curtains. We will never feel safe ordering online from Woolworths again and this experience has changed the way we feel about Woolworths.
