Woolworths Online - FALSE ADVERTISING

I ordered a boot online which stated the boot was in stock. After 2 days the order is finally being processed and the order no longer includes the boot because it is actually out of stock. The Woolworths team then calls to say that there is no way of assisting and they will not assist by sourcing the item from one of the thousands of stores to complete the purchase order they entered into with the consumer. Why advertise stock if there is none available?
