Woolworths Northwold Cashier adds the "Human touch"

I recentlywent to Woolworths Northwold to purchase goods. By the time I reached the 10 items or less cashier Khanyisile. I had realised that I didn't have my wallet on me. She had already scanned my items and by the time I realised that I had incorrectly sent money to the wrong phone. I asked her to please hold my groceries. I would return after a few minutes as I had to go back home an get my wallet. I collected my wallet form home and returned to the store.

When I arrived I walked into the cashier as she was walking across the till isle. She quickly asked on of her colleagues Ntsoaki to call up the sale and ring it up for me while she goes to the back to collect my groceries. after paying for my groceries I waited at the entrance for just over a minute. Soon she brought my groceries and apologised for the delay because she had kept my chicken in the oven and my wines in a fridge. I was thrown back. I honestly doubted that she would even keep my items. Instead she trusted that me and my girlfriend would return as promised. She went an extra mile to keep my chicken warm and wines cool. We were so impressed by this gesture that I felt that such good service really needs be shouted about. It is very rare to get people who do the little things right. I do hope that Woolworths recognises her for such good service and encourages such behaviour amongst their staff. 11/10 from us.
