Woolworths & Non-compliant Debt Collection Process

My account was handed over for collection, I don't know when as I have received NO warning letters (as is required by the Act). I was also reported to ITC, so it reflects negatively on my credit score. I have not received any statements since December 2021. My accounts is frozen, all the credit I had taken away - still unbeknown to me. I am in the process of applying for a bond, and this is now putting a successful application at risk, due to the report of Woolworths to ITC. I made contact with the call center on the July 11th to find out what is going on, and was told that my account is R96 in arrears, reason why it has been handed over - charges that accumulated that I was not aware of as the last time I used my account was 2020. I was assured that when I make payment, that within a couple of days, I will receive an email notification from Woolworths stating the fact that payment was made and that the ITC communication / reversal process in progress. This I can then present to the banks to prevent the time I have to apply for a bond to run out. I immediately paid R100, but I am still waiting to hear anything from Woolworths. Phoning today, several times, I eventually got to the credit department and I was told the same story, that I have to wait a couple of days. I don't have a couple of days to wait, and their word / promise of that means nothing, it could be months... Time for bond approval expires Wednesday. I don't even know- what to say or where to go next but here .....
