Woolworths - no longer a quality brand!

I bought a 2 pack sandals - &US brand - from Woolworths, Pavilion on 20 June 2020. On 13 July 2020, the band on the sandals snaps whilst my son was walking. This has to be very poor product quality despite associating Woolworths with quality. I could have bought sandals cheaper elsewhere. I want a refund. I refuse to pay for defective products.
