Woolworths negligent and uncaring manager (Horrible black customer treatment)
This is a review for the terrible service at Woolworths at Lifestyle Crossing in Little Falls. My husband and I went to the store 3 times today to buy Grilled Chicken - the first time we were told it has just been put in the oven and we should come back in 1&1/2hrs, we went back after 1&1/2hrs and we were told it is still not ready we must come back after 25min. We told the lady working there we are not able to wait that long again because we had to take our kids to soccer practice, she then suggested she would keep one for us until we come back and we told her we would be back between 17:30-17:45. We went back to Woolworths for the third time and arrived at 17:40 when we got there, there was no chicken, the lady sold that very last one she said she would keep for us to a White lady as we got there and we asked her for the chicken they promised to keep for us. She told us it is finished. Very upset, we asked for the manager because we had traveled 3 times and wasted our petrol and time when the staff promised to keep one chicken for us. The manager (Yoliswa Seekena) said "there is nothing I can do" and further asked us "what do you want me to do besides apologizing?" This is shocking service from a store like Woolworths - this manager was sitting down with her friend and responding with an attitude showing no concern whatsoever to my husband and I's complaint. I took a picture of her sitting there and telling us there is nothing she can do. It is so disappointing that after going to the store 3times wasting over R200 on petrol with loadshedding, the item we had asked for was given to a white woman in front of us. This shows that Woolworths only cares about its white customers and offers no customer care whatsoever to black people. This is why I am raising this here now.
