Woolworths hides behind 3 party to doge accountability and liability
My car was severely severely damaged by Woolworths unattended trolley . +- R15000 damages to be exact as per 2 quotes I was obliged to get for Woolworths insurance . Only to be told by Woolworths customer escalation specialist their view on this matter is clear - “their external and independent service provider is responsible and risk is inevitable” their Woolworths negligence and and unwillingness to take corrective action when asked to do so . We have video footage from mall security Cameras of the unattended trolley smashing the car and I took photos the next day of several more unattended trolleys . I even invited the operations manager from Woolworths to accompany me to the parking lot to resolve and mitigate the risk of unattended trolleys for others ( no luck) .
I have a photo of the trolley guard enjoying YouTube in the shade with at least two trolleys in the middle of the parking lot unattended and likely to cause more damage to someone else car .
The entire 6 week discussion emails phone calls amounted to Woolworths showing me a big middle finger and heading for the hills ! Great example of corp accountability & responsibility woolies .
Be glad your trolley only hit my car and not a child’s stroller but I suspect your response would be the same !
