WOOLWORTHS GLENVISTA SHOPPING CENTRE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
I went to Woolworth's Food at Glenvista Shopping Centre this afternoon around 2:30pm to buy a few items on mid-month special catalogue and buy today's Manager's special meat (if available) at less 30%. I found a tray of stewing beef for R229.59 with today's expiry date that did not have a 30% off sticker and couldn't find any shop assistant on the floor to enquire if this was to be marked down. I then proceeded with it to the till and asked the cashier (I did not get her name, she was not wearing a name tag). I asked her to check if this was to be marked down and she reluctantly checked (with loads of attitude and funny facial expressions). She scanned the tray of stewing beef , which was not marked down and then called a supervisor named Nombulelo to assist with overriding the transaction. Nombulelo came to the till to override and then the cashier proceeded to tell the supervisor to take the tray off the floor and put it in the microwave so they won't have to deal with silly customers.
I am dissapointed at the lack of service at Woolworth's Glenvista Shopping Centre, not just amongst staff but also management/supervisors who should know better.
Woolworth's is a premium brand that prides itself on great quality products and outstanding customer service, unfortunately that has gone to the dogs at our local Glenvista shopping centre.
