Woolworths Gift Card

A gift card that was purchased has a technical error. Shocking service from the gift card dept and Cresta management to resolve this query. No one responds to any emails. I'm told that no one can reach the card dept so we should just sit and wait. This has taken up so much time by the person that received the gift card completing claim forms and by me following with numerous visits and phone calls to the branch. I was told that the branches are inundated with gift card problems. Should we still be buying Woolworths gift card.?
