Woolworths Food (pasta) infested with mites!

We have trusted the quality of Woolworths Food, and would prefer to keep it that way. However, a few days ago, my wife found mites ("miet") in our food cupboard, which means we had to throw out a lot of valuable, but infested, food, something that we, as pensioners (without a liveable pension), cannot afford. We wondered what would be the source of the mites, until my wife bought some new "Penne" pasta from Woolworths in Somerset West (Circle Centre) again, and today, inspected the sealed package from the outside (without opening it), and found some live mites inside. This was quite a shock, coming from our "trusted" Woolworths. The "best before" date is 05/10/2027 from lot L40T - P1.
