Woolworths food is over rated

I visited the Woolworths food store in Boksburg K90 centre on Thursday and bought a pack of chicken pieces because it was on special and Woolworths is known for good quality food. I froze the chicken when I arrived home and defrosted it in the Friday Sunday morning. Sunday evening as I was preparing to cook the chicken, I could smell that something was wrong with it but I thought I was imagining things because I thought that it's bought from Woolworths so it should be okay to cook. I got my whole family to smell it and we all agreed that it was off or rotten per say. For such a high end grocery store I am very disappointed in the quality of their food as their prices are quite high and one wouldn't expect such bad quality for something that is highly prices. Very disappointed in this store.
