Woolworths FLAGSHIP Branch pathetic service

On the 15th of December I went into the Waterstone branch, the so called flagship branch of Woolworths again and purchased more than R2000 worth of groceries, but experienced bad service that I never thought is synonomous with Woolies. When I took a Xmas hamper box with the 3 pieces of meat I did not expect the shelf and the box to be a ****** mess. My shirt and pants were stained when picking up the box, I had an appointment later and was late because I had to return home to get clean clothes. I showed it to the packer who was in shocked that it could happen at their shop. He called the manager, who was busy and would phone me as soon as he is finished. On the way out the 3 managers sat outside having lunch. Can I assume this is Woolworths service and standard now? Is the manager still busy as I left my name and number and no word yet?<br> Dr JJ Joubert
