I opened an account with Woolworths. Paid the outstanding amount in 2018 and requested that the account be closed. The account was not closed. Interest accrued and subsequently the account was handed over. Paid the outstanding interest to debt collectors and was assured the account will be closed. The account was not closed. The bad service received from Woolworths has tremendously impacted my credit score.
