Woolworths financial service is **********

On 13 Sept 2021 I tried to apply for a home loan with ABSA and it was declined because of Woolworths Financial Services incorrect information on ITC.

I have sent countless emails to the queries and bureaux department and have not been responded to. In August 2021 after settling my arrears on 23 July 2021 I finally got a letter from Woolworths confirming that the arrears in my credit card have been settled and ITC will be updated. Not true, here we are and ITC reports on 13 September that 1) I am in arrears for R4000 with Woolworths credit card; and 2) my monthly instalment is R4800

Both the above are false, even by Woolworths’ own up to date letter. Simply false.

What is more foolish is that the installment amount is ridiculous for a R25k credit card. In simple, WFS have failed to update since July 2021 and it is affecting me tremendously. What is worse is the poor and disgusting sense of service when a client has issues. No measures and controls in place.

Woolworths service support is appalling. I keep saying this.

3 agents later I was transferred: from customer care To retentions Back to customer care and waited until I finally spoke to a competent assistant Unathi Bayani. It took Unathi Bayani to at least try and refer my email to the defunct Bureaux department. I have been trying to resolve this since July 2021 and have sent countless complaints by emails and called in and although not resolved, this is how long it has taken to get assistance from 1 individual who doesn’t even work in the relevant department. Thank you Unathi for trying. But Woolies credit card division is **********.

Ive lost count with how often this happens at Wfs.

I am beyond insults of the quality of service at this institution. I’ve never experienced anything like this. It baffles me.
