Woolworths faulty gift card
We received a faulty gift card as a wedding gift in January. When I tried to use the gift card at Woolworths Tygervalley, the employee confirmed that it was a faulty gift card and that she was going to contact the gift card department and let me know what I should do. After not hearing back from her and following up several times, they told me that I should get an affidavit at the police station and email it to them. The email adress they gave me didn't work and I emailed customer services who assured me that the issue is being handled and they forwarded my email to Woolworths Tygervalley. After following up with them several times, they are now ignoring my emails. Woolworths issued the faulty gift card, but I'm expected to waste time to go to Woolworths stores, follow up on emails and even go to the police station to get an affidavit. I usually find shopping at Woolworths as a pleasant and smooth experience, but this has been very frustrating and disappointing.
