Woolworths endangering Infants!!

Good day

Yesterday Woolworths Menlyn denied me and my family entry because our 8 month old son, who was strapped to me, were not wearing a mask.

It is a well known fact and also noted into the SA Covid 19 regulations that children under 5 years and especially infants are not to wear a mask as they can not regulate their own breathing or remove a mask when they can not breath.

The very rude security lady had us standing outside the store for 10 minutes while waiting for a manager who never came.

I am outraged at the fact that Woolworth's are expecting mothers to endanger their children in order to enter their shops!!!

Another poor mommy had to throw a warm winter blanket over her 5month old baby while the temperature was 35C. So either you smother your baby to death with a mask or you cause heatstroke and dehydration because that's the only way you can purchase anything from Woolworths outlets.

YOU ARE VIOLATING OUR RIGHTS TO PURCHASE FOOD AND BASIC NECESSITIES AND ENDANGERING OUR CHILDREN!!!

What will be done to correct the humiliation and ******** endangerment that you put me and my family through?
