Woolworths Drakensberg Boerewors

I purchased Drakensberg Boerewors from Woolworths Food, Meyersdal, Alberton, Gauteng today, 27 August 2026.

I do not usually complain about the quality of food, but today I have to let you know how disgusting this boerewors is. I am so disappointed. Our dinner is ruined. I had to throw this boerewors in the garbage, not even the dog wanted to eat it.

The casing is thick and looks like plastic and it is in fact NOT edible as is listed on the back of the packaging. I have never seen boerewors with a casing like this.

Furthermore, the boerewors is full of sinews and hard pieces of fat.

No Woolies, do better. We pay more for quality. I expect more of Woolworths.
