WOOLWORTHS DON'T KNOW HOW TO MANAGE THEIR ACCOUNTS
I have had a Woolworth's account for many years however, when I buy something from Woolworth s in the middle of the month, I settle the account in full at the end of the month. I purchased from Woolworth s in December 2019 and settled the amount in full at the end of December 2019. For January 2020, my Woolworth s account reflected a zero balance. I then purchased again the beginning of February 2020 and settled the account in full on 23/02/2020.
Yesterday, 25/02/2020, I received an email stating that I owed a certain amount of monies to Woolworth s. No account, not statement, just an amount on an email. I advised the person that I would not pay any amount to Woolworth s based on an email and that I expected an account.
On getting home this afternoon, I pulled out my purchases and proof of payment and advised Woolworth s that I would not be paying ANY amount to them as I did not owe them any monies.
I received an email from a person called Olwethu Qomoyi who is apparently a Specialist Collections Agent, threatening to impact my credit profile if I don't pay this amount.
It seems that Woolworth s have some other company now handling their accounts and it also seems that they haven't got the foggiest idea what they are doing and are both useless and ***********.
WOOLWORTH'S, DON'T MAKE YOUR PROBLEMS MY PROBLEMS!!!!!
