Woolworths doesn't live up to their high-quality standards and service

Bought a S 750ml Brut Muscat on 16/10/2021 at your store Old Bakery CT in Atwells Village Centre Lakeside. Opened and drank it on 17/10/2021 only to find out from my husband that the Brut Muscat was expired on 13/09/2021. I'm a very careful person as I go to Woolworths to buy food and specific drinks because of the quality and standards the store keeps. So I drank without even checking the expiry day as I knew the was no way I could have been expired. To my surprise it was and I thank God I only had one glass of it as I'm breastfeeding a premature baby who’s still in the hospital. Went back to the store the following as I stay very far from the store. Before I went to the tellers I went straight to the aisle where they pack the wine, I found more of the expired but and it was packed in a way we're the person who was packing wanted the expired ones in front. All the good ones were packed at the back. I spoke to the store manager Siyavuya and explained what happened but he also didn't do me any justice. They just refunded me my money and apologized if for what the manager didn't know what when I asked him. I kept the rest and informed I was going to keep just in case me or my new born baby gets sick. It was so disappointing to get such from a Woolworths store and this company is always promoting its high-quality service and standard. Let's not even start to speak of the high price but we pay for it because of the high quality.
