Woolworths does not care about customers!!

My mother purchased clothes for my son on the 2nd April 2020. The lockdown stopped them from delivering within a week so I understand. After the restrictions were lifted and we were told that they can deliver essential Baby winter clothes during level 4, we expected a response. There was no response whatsoever until we called them. At first they gave some excuse about only delivering winter and not summer clothes. I clarified that my mom only bough winter baby clothes. Then they stopped answering their customer service landline. Then I went on twitter for help and they basically said that they can’t help and said I must call or email. I called and emailed once again. Only after I emailed did they send an email that they were only processing the order then. This was on the 5th May 2020. Over a month later!!!! They then sent an email on the 8th May 2020 to say that they will deliver the clothes. My mom ensured that she would be home all day to get the delivery even though she had to go to the shops to buy essentials. She is 65 years old therefore you can imagine how tedious the whole process was of having to cancel going early for your essentials only for the delivery never to be made. Nonetheless they never came!! I called them again and no answer. I emailed them again and no answer. Does Woolworths not care about whether our children are warm or not during this cold weather?! My son even has a cold. When will they deliver?! They are just playing with people’s emotions. My mother has a long term relationship with Woolworths. She buys all her grandson’s clothing, her clothing and both their food at Woolworths. She even has a account with them for years! I told her that they do not respect her time, money and health and that she should just cancel!! She has not yet done so but maybe that is the language that Woolworths will understand!! Such unprofessionalism and disdain for people. I am uteerly disgusted and shocked!!!!!
