Woolworths customer service is a joke.
This complaint refers to Woolworths customer service. But perhaps it would be unfair to complain when there is no service? However, the situation is as follows. After experiencing endless frustration trying to purchase a well fitting ladies undergarment from woolworths stores and discovering that a number of her friends were having a similar problem, on 5th August my wife sent an e-mail to woolworths customer service with a suggestion for a more suitable design. On 8th August, she received the following reply; "Thank you for your email. Kindly note that your query/suggestion has been forwarded to the relevant department for their attention. Thank you for taking the time to contact us. If we can be of assistance to you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us as follows, call us on ***, email *** or contact us online www.woolworths.co.za." Your ***-*** Kind Regards Zara Kelderman
By 22 September there had been no response and so the following e-mail was sent to ***; Dear Customer Service. "This e-mail from you of 8th August has so far gone unattended by the relevant department that you say it was forwarded to. Is it possible for you to enquire why this is the case. I will give Woolworths a reasonable time to respond, say 1 week, whereafter I intend to forward this communication to Hellopeter for publication on their website. It is really not difficult to understand, irrespective of the Covid lockdown, why Woolworths is in the trouble it is. I am pretty sure that the management of your company is quite anxious to read about these matters in the media." Regards
So now here we are, mid-way through October and still nothing has happened. Could it be that woolworths does not care about their future? Who knows.
