Woolworths Customer Care
Picture this: I enter the store, enticed by an appealing promotion I spotted on Woolworths' website: Polo Shirts for just R299. Filled with anticipation for a good deal, I make my way to the store, only to discover that none of the staff members are aware of this promotion. Despite my efforts to show them the online offer, I'm met with blank stares and shrugged shoulders.
Undeterred, I contact Woolworths customer service, hoping for a resolution to my issue. Eight days later, Bronwyn Strauss from the customer service centre responds to acknowledge my complaint, offering supposed assistance. However, despite assurances that my concerns would be addressed, I am met with silence. Days go by, yet there is still no response, no acknowledgment of my complaint.
This lack of accountability and responsiveness is completely unacceptable. As a customer, I deserve better treatment. I deserve to be listened to, valued, and provided with timely and satisfactory resolutions to my concerns.
I expect better from Woolworths; they have failed to uphold the fundamental principles of customer service. They must be held accountable for their actions, or lack thereof.
I lodged this complaint with Woolworths on the 17th of January. I received a call from an agent 8 days later, acknowledging the promotion error. Now, 24 days later, the issue remains unresolved, with no response to emails and no one taking accountability.
