Woolworths credit card providers are useless

I was approached by Woolworths to open a credit card with them, they then requested me to submit all the relevant documents in store when so that the card can be issued and activated. Once I received the card, I was told it will take about 1 hour to be active, this was head office telling me this.

After a day I went back to the credit service department to tell them that their card is still inactive, they called head office again and was told it will take 5 hours, then it will be active. The next day I got an SMS that I need to verify by submitting my payslip before it can start working.

Why does Woolworths credit providers issue a credit card before receiving all the required documents from customers, charges keep accumulating with an ineffective card and I told them to cancel the card, one minute I owe R50, in less than a week I owe them R114. I will not work with a service provider that clearly has confused procedures or *********** stuff members nor do I have the patrol and time to waste by continuing to visit the same store just to go nd wait close to 1 hour and yet leave without a clear solution. All they keep saying from head office is we will get back to you and call the credit department to get in contact. THEY ARE *********** in terms of customer service and informing clients of what they need from them before issuing credit cards, fix your procedures and stop wasting our time. Assist me with canceling your card, because before I know it I will be owing R10000 by December 2024 with no valid reason.
