Woolworths Click & Collect - Terrible Service

Ordered two chicken roasts online as it was on special if you buy online. Went to the greenacres branch to collect at the click and collect area. After waiting for more than an hour, giving my collection details several time, they only told me that the chicken is out of stock. At which point it was to late to buy it in store as I really needed it for our Christmas meal.

First of all I saw the chicken in store and wanted to buy it two days before Christmas, but ended up buying it online as it showed I’d save 25%. Secondly, it showed in stock. Therefore, why do this to someone. Especially making them wait an hour just to say it’s out of stock.

This was really a bad experience and cost me a good Christmas lunch as I couldn’t find any good chicken elsewhere in stock.

I also called the online service contact center. The lady took my details and said a manager would get back to me regarding the issue and see how they could assist. Nobody got back to me, so thanks for that…
