Woolworths Brooklyn - Shocking Service - Not making "a difference"
Five Months, No Shoes, No Refund – Shocking Service at Woolworths Brooklyn
I am absolutely appalled by the shocking customer service I’ve received from Woolworths Brooklyn. In February 2025, I bought a pair of shoes from the store. After wearing them once, a mark appeared on the shoe. I returned the item, expecting Woolworths' usual standard of service. Instead, I’ve endured a five-month-long nightmare with no resolution in sight.
The shoes were sent away for inspection, and I was later told the damage was supposedly caused by me. I disputed this but requested that the shoes be returned to me. That was five months ago. Since then, I have received neither the shoes nor a refund.
I have personally visited the store multiple times and spoken at length to the manager, Vivian Makole, who acknowledged that the shoes still had to be couriered back. Each time, she promised to follow up or call me back – but she never did.
I’ve also phoned the store on several occasions, only to be told that the shoes are “still with the couriers.” For five months? That is utterly unacceptable and borders on negligence.
This experience reflects a total lack of accountability, communication, and customer care from a brand that claims to pride itself on quality and service. I expected much better from Woolworths. If this is how you treat your customers – ignoring them, stringing them along, and failing to resolve even the simplest issue – then your brand is in serious decline.
Do better, Woolworths Brooklyn. Right now, you're failing dismally.
