Woolworths bad customer service

I placed an order at Woolworths Kathu on 4 December. I went today to enquire why I haven't received the goods yet. According to their system the goods were delivered on the12th. They did not contact me to collect it. I need the goods before Friday. I asked the Food manager to contact their purchasing department to request that the goods be here by the latest Thursday as this was their stuff up. The feedback I got was that it can only be delivered on the 30th. They get supplies daily. Seeing as it is their employees that did not do their jobs properly one would expect them to admit that they messed up and then ensure that I receive my goods by the date that I need it as I ordered it in time. I remember times when customer service was actually something that Woolworths prided themselves in, but it seems they don't anymore. Time to shop elsewhere
