Woolsworths not accepting returned goods

On Friday, 2 October I went to the Sandton City Woolworths to return a per of trousers and a top for a suite. I bought the items on sale.. I was told that the items are no longer on the system and they will not accept them back. They said they were sale items. <br> <br> On the receipt it clearly stated that the last day of returns was 4 October 2015. At the bought of the receipt which I did not notice was written last day on returned item on sale is 16 September 2015. These 2 clauses on the receipt are very confusing. I went to more then 5 Woolworths store in Johannesburg and I could not find the right sizes.<br> <br> I asked to see the customer manger at the store, after 45mins of waiting I decided to leave. No one attended me and the till manager pretended I did not exist as she helped other customers. (I wont bring race into this but poor service overall.) I am not happy with they service.<br> <br> Now I do not know what to do with these odd items. In future Woolworths should have signs up all over the store notifying customers of these clauses on sale. I would appreciate that these items be taken back.<br> <br>
